Just Asking (5): DQ?
Onion Ring.
Sundae Supreme with strawberries topping.
Ever since the first encounter with DQ—Dairy Queen in Texas.
What? Not that DQ?
Well then it must be the DQ that knocked non patriotic candidates out before they could stand for election, at any level.
It was so widely used in HK these few years.
That’s the only sure way that the power could guarantee to have yes men or women in.
Not that either?!
What’s the DQ?
Jesus was once asked what the greatest commandment in the Law was.
Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Mt 22:37-39, NLT)
Answer is of course love!
Apostle John adds:
No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us (1 John 4:12, NLT) .
Again, the answer is love!
Apostle Paul is explicit:
Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love (1 Cor 13:13, NLT) .
No doubt, love is supreme!
So what about DQ?
No doubt, God has more authority and power to DQ someone, not allowing them to love Him, or to love others.
But it would seem farcical if there’s DQ.
The more DQ conditions, the more impotent God is reduced to:
No one can follow the greatest?
No one can love?
Just asking.
